Peer pressure

Yesterday my class and I went to see a show about drugs. At the show there was a story about two boys and a girl that went to a club. One of the boys brought some drugs for them, so they have "more fun!" He and the girl took some right at the beginning but the other boy didn’t want to take some. In the end, the other boy took some because of peer pressure . At the end of the night, the boy was hospitalized in an emergency room.

This is one exampleof bad peer pressure.
In my opinion, peer pressure is not a good thing, usually your friend want you to do something you don’t want to, and that almost always ends badly. Peer pressure is something teenagers and people in general should avoid getting into. So why are teenagers giving in to peer pressure? Of course, the answer will be that they want to be popular, to be liked, to be admired. But, do they really think this is the way?
I think not, I think peer pressure is a bad thing and kids shouldn't give into peer pressure, because they can be pouplar if the be themselves too.

To conclude, I think that sometimes teenagers need to know how to say no! to protect them selves, and to be themselves and do what they want and not what their friends told them to.

Dear Ronit.

I understand your dilemma. If you decide to be friends with Jill, you might lose your old friends, but if you don’t try, you will never know what can happen. Jill might be a very nice girl and a good friend, do you went to lose that?

Try to think about Jill, she is shy, she doesn't have any friends and she feels lonely. How would you feel if you havent any friends, no one to talk to when you are sad, and no one to be with? Maybe you should introduce her to your friends and they will like her too, or you can introduce her some other girls you know so she at least could have some friends.

To conclude, I suggest you follow your heart, it will never disappoint you. I promise you know what to do, try to be nice maybe your friends will follow your decisions.

For 8 years Innocent people in Sderot live in terror.
For 8 years Innocent people in Sderot live in Shelters, afraid to be attack by the Hamas's Rockets.
For 8 years over 3,278 Rockets have been soot towards Israel.
And the world in Silent.
Finally the government is doing something with this situation and now the world woke up!
The Israeli government wants pace,
Despite the Hamas that wants to destroy us!

Hi, how are you? I hope everything is fine at school, and everything.
How is everyone doing? Say hello to every one from me.
I'm sorry I haven't written you until now, I was too busy getting used to everything around here at the boarding school. It has been real fun until now, I met some new friends and I love everything around here.

You will never believe what amazing thing happened to me on my first week here. In this school we can choose one fun activity, well you know how much I love dancing…So I chose the dancing class. On our first lesson I saw him, he was the cutest boy ever. He has green eyes, brown hair and the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. He looked into my eyes and we immediately fell in love. When the class ended he asked me out, and of course I said yes!
I think he is the one, but we should wait for the date first. Our date is tomorrow, I'm so looking forward to it. I can't wait.I don't know what to wear, you have to halp me!

Well, I hope everything will be just fine.

Time

The Hourglass.

The Hourglass is a device for measuring time. He built two glasses, one over the other connected to one another in the thin hose.
One usually is filled with sand that passes to the second glass.

The time that takes the sand to get to the other glass is the basic unit of measurement of the hourglass. After all the sand is done it's possible to turn the hourglass over , and measure the same unit of time.

Some say that the history of the hourglass had already started from the 11th century with the Pirates. The shape of the sea clock was often appears on the Pirate's flags, and signed that every thing has an end .




The Sundial.












The Sundial is a clock, that uses the movement of the sun to deliver a shadow on an expected hour. That was one of the first clocks that was invented in the world.

The first sundial that humans invented was by Obelisk in ancient Egypt in 3500 BC. This was a stick stuck in the ground, its shadow was on the floor, and there were signs that shows the time. Because the sun rises from east to west through the south it was possible to find out the hour.

In 1500 BC the use of the clock became more advanced, meaning that units of time were smaller and more precise so the people could know the time more specifically. After that the water-clock was invented.

My trip to Germany

During my last summer vacation my family and I flew to Germany. Germany is historically called Das Land der Dichter und Denker.

Since 2006 it named itself Land of ideas.

German culture began long before the rise of Germany as a nation-state and spanned the entire German-speaking world.

Germany is a country in central Europe, a beautiful country. It has enormous forests, astounding lakes and amazing views. Each day we traveled somewhere else and enjoyed ourselves so much.

We visited at the Europe Park.It's the biggest entertainment park ever. It has so many roller coasters and we got in all of them and we had such a great time.

My family and I went to a lot of places in Germany but we most enjoyed

in Freiberg. Freiberg is a bazaar city there was a lot of stores from clothing stores to market

stores. We bought there so many things, clothes, food, and jewelry . It was so mach fun.

We also were in the Titlis Rotair.The Titlis is a really tall mountain .We got to the top of the mountain , it was so beautiful it has a lot of snow in the top . We played with it and we enjoyed so much..

In the end I recommend to go to Germany. I had such a great time and I am Definitely will be going there again because all the beutiful places and the fun Activities we doen there.

It had the best tripe of my life.

My sister

The person I would like to tell you about is my little sister Noy. My sister and I are very close, we tell everything to each ether and we are best friends.
Although we arguea lot, I love her very much and I can’t imagine my life with out her.

My sister was born in the United States and she is 14 years old.
My sister has brown hair and brown eyes. We look similar on the outside and people sometimes get confused between us, but we are so different on the inside.
My sister and I shar the same room, because we always want to be together. We go to school together, we like to go shopping together and we do almost everything together.

My sister likes to dance, sing, read, watch TV, and meet with her friends.
She is very friendly and nice but sometimes she can be really annoying. For example, when she decides something, no one can change her mind, and sometimes she doesn’t listen to me and I hate that. She is very messy and I have to clean after her, but eventually she is the best sister in the whole world.

To conclude I love my sister so much and I will never replace her for nothing in the whole world.

She is my bastest friend and i can't imagine my life without her.
